course Our 4-Hour CA Construction General Permit Training Overview Course is an online certificate program which educates individuals to properly maintain a construction site in compliance with the CA Construction General Permit (CGP) program.

This training covers the principles and practices of erosion and sediment control, inspections, pollution prevention as well as the proper reporting and documentation requirements for ensuring compliance under the CA Construction General Permit.

Our CGP Overview Training is intended for anyone dealing with Stormwater issues, whether or not they intend to become a State Certified QSP or QSD. This course is also a great refresher for Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and for Engineers who wish to take the QSD Exam.

courseThe 14-hour, Qualified Compliance Inspector of Stormwater (QCIS) computer based certificate program educates individuals to properly maintain a construction site in compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting program.

This training covers the principles and practices of erosion and sediment control, pollution prevention as well as the proper reporting and documentation requirements for ensuring compliance under the NPDES Construction General Permit.

This program has been reviewed and recognized by the EPA and is a Level 300 United States Green Build Council approved training.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Identify the components and the framework of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting program.
  • Describe the proper installation and maintenance of stormwater management Best Management Practices (BMPs).
